Блуждающий взгляд. Можно сказать, что у каждого из нас бывает в некотором роде «блуждающий» взгляд, т. к. нам трудно долгое время пристально смотреть на что-то одно. Сейчас, однако, это словосочетание чаще употребляется в ином смысле. Если мы говорим о ком-либо что he/she has a roving eye, то имеем в виду, что он/она ищет, с кем бы завести любовную интрижку. I could have warned her that there'd be trouble. He's always had a roving eye and things were unlikely to change just because he married her. — Мне следовало бы предостеречь её, что будут сложности. Он всегда отличался повышенным интересом к женщинам, и вряд ли что-то изменилось только потому, что он на ней женился.
